The field of bioinformatics has seen significant advancements due to the integration of data mining techniques, which have revolutionized the way biological data are analyzed and interpreted. This Special Issue aims to explore the latest methodologies, applications, and innovations in data mining that address complex problems in bioinformatics. We welcome original research papers, reviews, and case studies that highlight how data mining techniques are applied to various bioinformatics challenges, such as genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and systems biology.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
