Dear Colleagues,
The journal biomedicines is currently running a special issue entitled “Immunological Mechanisms of Host Defense and Inflammation: Insights into Immune Responses and Homeostasis”. I would like to invite you to contribute an original research or review article to this special issue. The current issue will focus on immunometabolism, elucidating potential molecular mechanisms driving host defense. Original research or review articles related to host-driven generation of the defensive environment in terms of sensing, signaling, inflammation and killing of pathogens as well as immune responses driving homeostasis and resolution of infection are welcome.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Biomedicines is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
