Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to launch the Special Issue “Feature Review Papers in Physical Chemistry 2024” for highlighting recent advances in basic, interdisciplinary, and applied physical chemistry research areas. Our intention is to highlight the most recent and significant advancements that are sha** the physical chemistry research areas today. This Special Issue aims at providing an attractive platform for collecting high-quality review papers, among others, on recent advances in the development of powerful physical chemistry tools, and the integration of machine learning and data science in physical chemistry research areas.

With a focus on capturing state-of-the-art knowledge and pioneering advancements, this Special Issue will encompass, as mentioned above, a wide range of topics within the physical chemistry research areas. These include, but are not limited to, chemical dynamics, colloid and interface science, molecular modeling and simulations, and surface chemistry. We are delighted to present this collection of authoritative reviews for highlighting recent innovative approaches, future trends, and pioneering modern physical chemistry investigations and principles. We hope that this Special Issue will inspire further exploration, collaboration, and discovery within the scientific community.

We extend a warm invitation to and actively encourage research groups specialized in various sectors of physical chemistry to contribute their insights and findings to this Special Issue. We look forward to your contributions and the collective impact for physical chemistry.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at mdpi.longhoe.net by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Molecules is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.

Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 2700 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
